Located in Chicago’s Loop neighborhood, surrounded by high-rise’s and historic buildings, is DePaul University’s School of Communication. Extraordinary, hands-on experience
At DePaul, you’ll learn how to craft and deliver messages across a variety of platforms: face-to-face, print, audio, video, the web and social media. You’ll also have opportunities to do that in real-world settings. In fact, each year nearly 300 graduate and undergraduate students intern with companies and major media organizations.
DePaul students can say, “Chicago is our classroom,” as they take advantage of the city’s media market, including the Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Sun-Times, three major network newsrooms, the Museum of Broadcast Communication, the Center for New Television, and the Chicago Film Center. They learn not just from the college's distinguished faculty, (which includes leaders from media and business), but also from participation in activities and organization like the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), adVentors, and the DePaul Society of Professional Journalists/Online News Association Student Organization (SPJ-ONA).
